Mission

To ensure the success of teaching and research at Yarmouk University, Al-Hussein Bin Talal library confirms on:

  • Leadership for the selection, organization, access, and preservation of sources of knowledge in all formats.
  • Cooperation with all partners to select and acquire resources of information meets with patrons needs.
  • Provide an environment conducive to education and scientific research by using resources of information that enhance the effectiveness of learning, teaching, developing individual experiences, and effective participation for all patrons.
  • Provide the necessary information technology equipment and search engines to support the needs of patrons.
  • Exemplary information services designed to fulfill the needs of a great public research university.

Vision

Upgrade the level of library services provided to researchers, learners and intellectuals to reach leadership and excellence. The library is keen to provide the best sources of information for the university community to achieve the principle of freedom of knowledge, thought and culture.
